I met the guys in the Dime Store Poets in 2002 when I was a perennial audience member at their weekly shows. One Sunday morning, Billy invited me to sing harmony on "Amazing Grace" (it WAS Sunday, after all) and the rest is history. He began inviting me up to sing harmonies on his own tunes and soon I was going to band rehearsals and singing on most tunes. Over the years I added lead singing, auxiliary percussion and piano player to my roll in the band. We've released three albums (I sing on the second and third), with our third album being co-produced by Texas Music Hall of Famer, Gurf Morlix. We currently don't have a home (a.k.a. regular place to play) but hopefully we will find one soon. Our fans miss us...and we miss them too!
