Jazz Vocals

Whether your event has a classic theme or modern flair, jazz music can be the perfect accompaniment. A jazz combo during dinner is the perfect way to enjoy food and friends/colleagues or to encourage mingling during a drink reception. An up-tempo jazz group can get the party going and keep the dance floor moving.
By incorporating old and new "standards" we can provide a little bit of everything in an upscale or more-relaxed setting.

Larisa Montanaro has been performing in clubs, restaurants, and on the concert stage for the past twenty years. She began singing jazz with a big band while still in high school. Before moving to Austin, Larisa performed in Burlington, VT (home the Discover Jazz Festival) and around New York state. Even then, her command of stage and song caught the attention of her audiences.
She continues to perform in styles ranging from classical to country and in addition to her jazz group, she is also a member of a Soul R&B cover band (webpage coming soon...). Her style is polished and informed by all of these styles. Whether singing the blues, swinging with the band, or delivering a classic torch song, Larisa’s warm soulful voice is right at home.
